I am happy to have FINALLY been able to make the time to work up a new design for the blog!! It has been quite busy around here the last couple months... but for an artist.. that is a good thing - no complaining here! With some of my biggest client deadlines, new hopeful opportunities, new collections, and of course the dreaded tax season.. it has been a full packed first quarter to 2010. Looking forward to getting back on track as I am getting closer to checking off the remianing items on my list... then... on to a new list!!
As for the theme, it is again another one of my favorite things.. DOGS! Seeing as I am surrounded by them daily..
they are my buddies, my co-workers lol, my companions, and lots of inspiration. They truly have the gift to bring comfort and to just make me happy and smile! Thanks to you my furry friends Moose, joey, and little tequila!

You think dogs will not be in heaven? I tell you, they will be there long before any of us. ~Robert Louis Stevenson
I absolutely adore this!! I am a huge fan of your stamps, especially the dogs! I have an 11-year old yellow lab, who is like my child. He is getting old, and unfortunately, it shows. It amazes me every day, how much a part of our family he is. He is a blessing, and we love him dearly! Oh, and I am positive there are dogs in heaven!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your doggies Shelly! They definitely bring a smile to my face, and so do your lovely colorful spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteLoooooove your dogs...love, love, love them!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Chris! And I know they are like our kids to us for sure.. and don't you just wish they could just live alot longer.

You, my dear, are truly a visionary. Those dogs need their own afternoon special on PBS. I loved this quote too. I shed a tear for puppies gone by ;) I'm so glad you've been so busy, but boy have I missed you. xo

ReplyDeleteHave you thought about selling your images as digi stamps? I love your images but would prefer to color them in myself. Visit my blog to see some cards made with digi images from Mo Manning and Karen's Doodles.
